Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you take on custom requests or commissions?

Yes! Contact me if you have a custom request or commission proposal.

  • When is my online shop restocked if the item I want is out of stock?

There is no set schedule I’m afraid. Contact me if you see something you want to order but it’s out of stock.

  • I put a piece into my basket, but by the time I entered my card details and clicked pay it says they’re no longer available?

This is out of my control, it’s how the WooCommerce e-commerce system works. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes if you miss out purchasing some pieces. Again, reach out via the contact form and perhaps I can make something for you and include it in my next firing.

  • Do you do wholesale?

It’s certainly possible. It ultimately depends on the project, the people involved and where it’ll be seen/located. Get in touch if you’re curious, have a specific idea or proposal.

  • Can I pre-order?

If there’s an item that’s no longer available or out of stock but you are interested in it or something like it, please reach out via the contact form.

  • Do you take on commissions?

Get in touch and ask. I don’t make anything out of my normal range, i.e, no names on pieces or color requests, but if it’s something that could be made within kiln’s firing dimensions, or sounds like an interesting project, then I’d happily consider it.

  • Is your work sold in other countries? Can I get it places other than your online shop?

No. Not at this time. My work is only sold through my own website. I don’t do any retail at the moment. Occasionally, you can find my work sold elsewhere but it’ll be in exhibitions, so the work might differ from those stocked in my shop. Information about that will usually be on my Instagram (coming soon).

  • What kind of kiln do you use to make your work?

Right now, all of my work is fired in an electric kiln, the L&L e18T-3. I bisque fire to cone 04 or 06. And I typically fire pieces to cone 6 (2266 ˚ F) using various firing schedules depending on the glazes used.

  • Where did you find the slip cast molds?

They were found in & rescued from an old, dilapidated building owned by a family friend in a small Wyoming town. Seriously. I selected a few interesting ones and brought them back to California. If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out via the contact form.
