The Corral Canyon is a valley of the Santa Monica Mountains that slopes down to the striking and diverse terrain of the Malibu coast. Up Corral Canyon Road are two main trailheads, Castro Crest and the Backbone trailhead. In 2018, several areas of this landscape burned in the Woolsey Fire.
